LIFE EVENTS
We are there for you in the highs and the lows of life.
Throughout its history, the Church of England has connected with people as they reach major milestones over the course of their lives and at the end of them. St Ed’s church offers a variety of services - to mark the birth of a child, to celebrate a marriage, to mark the beginning of a journey of faith, and to commemorate a life that has ended.
If you are interested in having a baptism, wedding or funeral service at St Ed’s, please scroll down for more details and when you’re ready, get in touch with us.

Baptisms (including Christenings) are brilliant moments we as a church get to celebrate, as individuals and families mark their commitment to God. We hold infant and adult baptism services across the year. Please contact us to register your interest and to find out more about baptism preparation.
Alternatively, please also contact us if you wish to explore a service of Thanksgiving, which is where we thank God for your child without making the baptism promises.
